This is a family favorite. You get lots of different views of rivers, sand stone cliffs, slot canyons, caves, water falls, and Indian petroglyphs. It's a short hike with plenty of adventure for all ages.

Finding the trail:

Follow I-15 S to Leeds. Take exit 23 from I-15 S
Take N Main St and Old Hwy 91 to Red Cliffs National Conservation Area

Once you've passed the booth where you pay your fee you'll pass a small parking area on your right. These first stalls are fine to park in but if the ones further down on the right are closer.  If you pass a small bridge you've gone too far. The trail head starts on your left (south side of road) right before the bridge.

Trail Highlights:
- A tenth of a  mile down the trail there will be some small caves and a huge hallowed out tree that the little ones will love.

-When you start dropping down into the sandy river area there will be a huge shade tree. Great stop for snacks and drinks

-When the trail enters the river bed it follow it to a small pool with a possible waterfall. The kids will love the sand.

-Continue on the trail on your left over the small pool and cliffs. Once you do that the trails will bend right. Directly ahead of you will be a huge shallow arch cave. There are petroglyphs in this area. On the west side of the cave out on the cliff wall you can find a nice faded image of warrior looking dude.

-Just keep following the canyon until your surrounded in sand stone. You'll have to do a little bit of scrambling but you'll feel like you've found a lost paradise.
